Tiger of Malaya: The Fall of Singapore 1941-1942
Setting up scenarios one or two is pretty simple but setting up scenarios three or four takes a while with these smaller font counters. I am currently play the monster of all scenarios, scenario #4. Below is the setup chart side by side with the map.
Countersheet 2 (front)
The battle is raging in scenario #4. There maybe only 8-9 pages of rules but playing the full campaign will take at least 8-12 hours not 2-4 hours. Setup will take 1.5 hours.

Overview

Using the same game system as MacArthur's Return, Blood on the Snow and Winter Fury, this game covers the fighting in southern Malaya as the advancing Japanese drive the British, Indian and Australian forces back on their base at Singapore. What is different about this game is that it allows the British player to request the 7th Australian Infantry Division and 7th Armored Brigade, historically at sea during the battle and considered as a possible remedy. These two powerful formations might just turn the tide and defeat the Japanese.

Can the British player hold on long and well enough to convince General Wavell that the situation can be restored? Can the Japanese player out-manuever and outfight the British forces defending Johore province and gain a toehold on the island before resistance stiffens or reinforcements arrive?

One full-sized map, 420 game pieces.
