Overview

Hus is played in Namibia by the Damara (Berg-Dama), Namaqua, Herero, Kanyama, Ndonga, Kwangari, Mbukushu, Shambyo and Hei||om in Namibia. It is also spelled ||hūs. It is part of the Kalah Family of games.

The Hus edition published by Falke has a wooden board with 32 holes arranged in 4 rows. In Africa, versions exist with 8 - 24 holes.

In Africa, the larger boards are preferred by serious players.
