Overview

Gem Blenders is an original indie trading card game set on the island-continent of Gemlandia, where elemental gems are harvested and combined to transform citizens into super‑powered beings known as Blends. Gemlandians blend for purposes ranging from the mundane to the bizarre, but all Blends can prove useful in the island’s most popular sport: Gem Blender Battles!

In Gem Blenders, players recruit a team of four heroes, construct a deck of gems, blends, and action cards, and battle against an opposing team. Throughout the game, heroes must work together to collect the requisite gems, transform into powerful Blends, and maneuver across the battlefield to attack the opponent’s HP and claim victory. Action cards help your heroes function smoothly—or disrupt your opponent’s plans—and the flexible 2–3 round system ensures that even players who fall behind have opportunities to regroup and mount a comeback.

Gem Blenders follows an easy‑to‑learn, hard‑to‑master design philosophy, with straightforward mechanics that belie a deep level of strategic interaction. While it isn’t quite “like” any other trading card game, it will still feel familiar to seasoned players. Although collectability is a hallmark of the genre, Gem Blenders emphasizes accessibility by refusing to scarcity‑lock any functional cards. The community is vibrant, wholesome, and welcoming, with an active Discord where players are always happy to chat, teach, and answer questions.
