This game's strategy, luck, interaction, complexity and theme.
Overview
While primarily thought of as a combat system for Leading Edge's Rhand Morningstar Missions RPG, the original Phoenix Command rules were also intended to be used for man-to-man skirmish wargaming, either on the tabletop or a hex map.
This supplement to the Phoenix Command Small Arms Combat System sets the scene for High-Tech combat, and contains dozens of weapons suitable for futuristic battles. Included are: - The entire range of battlefield weapons, from Pistols and Assault Rifles to Squad Weapons, Rocket Launchers, and Land Mines. - Caseless Munitions - Sliver, Flechette, and Lase Weapons - High-Tech Armors, from post-modern Flexible Armor to vacuum-rated Combat Suits. Also included are a general discussion of the Seven Worlds setting that may be used as a backdrop for play, and full details on how the various weapons and armors work.
