Overview
Swords of Light and Darkness is an expansion to Anno Domini 1666, a swashbuckling board game of intrigue and mystery, set in alternative reality 17th century Vienna.
In the Swords of Light and Darkness players will try to convice Elector of Brandenburg Friedrich Wilhelm to vote for candidate supported by their political faction. It depends on you whether Louis XIV of France or Charles II of Spain called El Hechizado (The Bewitched) will become new emperor. In the shadow of the great politics we'll see duel between the two famous fencers: Salvatore Fabris, possessed by mighty demon Caarcinolaas and Gérard Thibault d'Anvers. Only few people realise that conseqences of duel between Sword of Light and Sword of Darkness could be much more serious than result of the imperial election...
