The Quest for El Dorado: Promo Pack – Letter of Recommendation (2021)

Overview

This Promo Pack for The Quest for El Dorado contains 3 new sets of cards that you can add to the game:

Botanist (3 copies) Trail Chart (3 copies) Letter of Recommendation (4 copies, 1 for each player’s starting deck)

This Promo Pack is currently only available with Vincent Dutrait artwork. It is unknown if Ravensburger will release it with Franz Vohwinkel artwork.

GAME RULES Set up the base game as usual. Add the Botanist cards and the Trail Chart cards as two extra piles above the market board. Add the Letter of Recommendation to each player's starting deck.

BOTANIST AND TRAIL CHART Like the Native, these cards let you move a number of spaces, provided each of these spaces satisfies the described condition (jungle space, single symbol). The space requirements are ignored. The cards can also tear down blockades of the described conditions.

LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION Once per game you can use this card to buy a card from above the market board instead of buying a card from the market board. Then remove your Letter of Recommendation from the game and put it back into the box.
