Overview

Houblon is a tavern game with dwarves! This party game with an ounce of trading, is a good immsersive way to imagine you sitting at a table of a turbulent dwarf tavern.

A game of Houblon takes place in 5 rounds. Each round is composed of 2 phases: Event phase and Action phase.

During the Event phase, a Event card is revealed and his effects are applied. It could be change many rules for the round, or challenge the player in some tavern mini-games.

Next, each player is doing his Action phase. It is composed of one action, and a dice roll to win some golds or Lottery cards.

During his Action phase, a player can buy or sell some hop, that will influence the hop rate. Each purchase will increase the hop's price, and each sale will decrease the hop's price.

A player can also take and play some Lottery cards, that allow him to bother and challenge his opponents. But the Lottery cards can make him win some victory points, some golds, or some hop !

At the end of the game, the winner is the player with the higher score in victory points. He is proclaimed "Master of the Tavern" !

Houblon is a game with a lot of interactions between the player, and it is compatible with friendly parties and good beer.
