Overview
A Rise of the Luftwaffe campaign module from RBM/GMT's C3i Magazine Nr5, Winter War 1939-40 is an extension part/ module to the "Down In Flames"-Series - Volume 1: Rise of the Luftwaffe game by GMT.
In late 1939 the Soviet Union began preparing for a possible war with Germany, despite having signed a non-aggression pact with Hitler in August. To strengthen its western defences, the USSR absorbed the Baltic states and made exorbitant demands for territorial concessions from Finland.
"Down in Flames" series is a card-driven game that simulate WW2 air combat.
