Overview

An unofficial promotional Role card “Teacher”, released as part of the "Pandemic: Teaching STEM Through Public Health" campaign, in collaboration with the Global Citizenship Experience Lab School. This role and its special abilities were envisioned to represent the way teachers work with students in order to further the reach of information. By passing on knowledge, we are able to continue to “stand on the shoulders of giants.”

In addition to the role card, you will need one pawn to represent the teacher and two pawns to represent students.

Rules:

The Teacher has a unique Role effect: You may use an action to ‘teach’ and create a new pawn in the city you are in. This new pawn is a student pawn. It can be used to do all basic actions in the game but does not have the special ability to create a student pawn.

The teacher and student(s) will share access to the same information and will both use your hand of cards. However, you are still subject to hand limits.

At the start of your turn, choose either the Teacher pawn or one of your student pawns. That pawn will complete the four actions for the turn.

Clarifications: - Only the teacher pawn can create student pawns. If you are using multiples of the same color pawn, keep track of which is the teacher pawn with a mark of some sort. - Only two student pawns can be created during each game. - Once you start using a pawn, you must finish the turn using just that pawn. You may choose a different pawn on your next turn.
