Keyflower: Talton Lodge (2023)

Overview

Keyflower: Talton Lodge is a new village tile for the game Keyflower.

Talton Lodge is being published to celebrate co-designer Richard Breese’s marriage to Penny Gray in September 2023 at Talton Lodge and will be available at Spiel in October 2023.

Talton Lodge is located in the middle of the Cotswolds countryside in England, amongst 34 acres of parkland, woodland, orchard, and garden. The Festival Marquee – the giant tipis shown on the tile – are situated in the grounds.

When using the Talton Lodge tile, score 1 point (or 2 points if the tile is upgraded) for each active keyple and waving keyple icon on the player’s other tiles in their village. These active keyples are the keyple icons located in the top info panels on the un-upgraded side of the village tiles and in the (only) info panel in the upgraded side of the village tiles, the summer boat tiles (including boats 4a and 4b), and the relevant turn order tile.

For example, if the Fair tile was in the player’s village and the player also owned the Talton Lodge tile, then the Talton Lodge tile would score 2 points for the Fair, or 4 points if the Talton Lodge tile was upgraded. If the Fair tile was upgraded, then the Talton Lodge tile would score 3 points for the Fair, or 6 points if the Fair was also upgraded.
