PnP version. Board at the end of round 3
Improved storage solution -- Note the cardboard on the bottom edge to prevent damage to cards from the ribs of the VHS case. Box closes easily. (See also below: storing with cards in baggies.)
first play!
I've finished my custom build of the PNP version. The last thing I designed and printed was the foldable playmat made of laminated paper. I guess I love this game. :-)

First finished game! So much fun! :-) Game settings: Short, easy. I won with 41 GP. I only needed 27 GP to win. :-)

Overview

Lead Rome to glory--or obscurity--as you develop and operate your rapidly expanding ancient civilization.

Pick a leader, choose your strategy, and decide the fate of an empire! Develop and refine your engine with deckbuilding, tableau building, and resource management to fulfill your edicts and bring the most possible glory to Rome.

The engine-building of Res Arcana meets the card play of Mage Knight in this thinky middle-weight Euro game.
