Expansion for Base-gameModern WarfareCooperative Game

Overview

This expansion focuses heavily on the storytelling aspect. It is a non-systematic way of checking what the chosen Character is thinking and how he or she would react to the current situation based on the Character’s background and personality.

Product description This add-on consists of: - A BOOK OF MEMORIES (works like the book of Scripts, but it’s smaller) - 13 ADDITIONAL CARDS

The book adds over 200 unique Scripts, all strictly connected to the Characters available in the game. The Scripts themselves can be of two kinds:

- Recollection - just as it was in the original game by 11 Bit Studios, the Characters in different stages of the game can reveal some essential details from their past. These memories or recollections can [1] often be purely story-related, [2] influence the game (for example, Morale), or [3] include a CHOICE made by a Character in the past (a player may also make a choice as if he or she would have traveled in time; The choice can carry consequences reflected in the game’s mechanics, like, for example, a predefined Consequences token waiting to be triggered with another Script just lurking by the corner).

- Current Thoughts - meaning a reaction to the current state of affairs in the game, depending on the chosen Character and its state (hunger, morale, etc.), and sometimes depending on events that took place or the choices already made. These can also be only story-related or influence the game’s mechanics. Ten cards build the basic engine that allows the Character whose recollections or thoughts are to be revealed to be determined. It also determines what exactly is to be checked and under what conditions (for example, a card might trigger the thought of the Character with the most broken Morale or the one chosen by the players, etc.).
