Ace of Spades: Ace of Base and Ace of Space (2025)

Overview

The Ace of Base is a new scene 10 encounter. This enemy does not have a life value. In order to defeat it, you must play a hand that includes an Ace and Queen of the same suit. You cannot use the Jammed Gun rule.

The Ace of Space, if added to the deck, requires that you remove the Ace of Hearts, Diamonds, or Clubs from the Poker deck. The Ace of Space plays in any Hand just like any other Ace in your deck, and it adds 3 extra damage points as normal. Since it is it's own suit, you cannot include it in Flush or Straight Flush Hands.

Once per game, if you have the Ace of Space in your hand, you may remove it completely from the game to immediately banish the Enemy that you're facing. This works with any Enemy except for the Final Nemesis. If used to banish enemy, return the Ace of Space and that enemy to the box, you do not benefit from any bonus the banished enemy may provide.
