Mega Empires: The Silk Road (2027)

Overview

The Silk Road is a versatile expansion set for all Mega Empires games that centers on the legendary Silk Road, which linked the Far East with the Middle East and the Western world. It includes additional maps that create geographical connections between The Far East - North (2027), The Far East - South (2027), and The East (2021). It adds 2 new empires, Zhangzhung and Tibet, along with rules and components for various alternative game setups:

Combination of The Far East - North and The Far East - South with 11 players. Combination of The East, The Far East - North, and The Far East - South with 12 to 20 players. Combination of The West (2019), The East, The Far East - North, and The Far East - South with 21 to 30 players.

Alternative setups for the combination of The Far East - North and The Far East - South with 6-11 players. Extending The East to 10 or 11 players. Extending the combination of The West and The East to 19 or 20 players.

The Silk Road also includes The Age of Grandeur Module, which is an upgrade to The Special Buildings expansion(s). It adds unique effects to the special buildings of each of the 30 empires in all Mega Empires products, indicated on large cards that players receive when constructing a special building. Whoever controls the building can use its unique effect to their advantage.
