Overview
A scenario for France for 27th May 1940.
At the southern end of the Ypres-Comines line 143rd Brigade from 48th Division faced off against the German 61st Infantry Division. However, near Comines, both the 143rd’s Brigadier and II Corps’ commander General Brooke thought attack was the best form of defence and launched almost simultaneous counterattacks. A jig saw of BEF units took part, supported by plenty of artillery.
