WargameExpansion for Base-gameMiniaturesAncientSimulationScenario / Mission / Campaign Game

Overview

This books describes 40 battle scenarios during the ancient period, from Acragas in 406BC to Yarmuk in 636 AD. Each scenario is given on one page. Troop order of battle is described for use by De Bellis Antiquitatis/Multitudinus (DBA/M). The author gives the number of men represented by each stand, so it should be simple to adapt the scenarios to other rule sets.

Example: Early Macedonian army at Crocus Plain: "20000 Foot: 8 Auxilia (5 I(I), 3 R(O)), 6 Psiloi I(O), 6 Spear R(O) 3000 Mounted: 1 Knight R(F), 2 Cavalry R(O) 1 General Knight R(F)"
