Overview

Stars and Bars is a wargame that recreates on an operational scale this Civil War battle [Oct 8, 1862, the Battle of Perryville, Kentucky. Union Gen. Buell against the Confederate Army of Mississippi and Gen Bragg]. Historically this was a victory for the South, although at a price of very heavy casualties.

Published in The Wargamer Magazine # 30 with Lesnaja: 'The Mother of Poltava' September 29, 1708.
