ASL Comp: Afrikakorps – El Guettar Stakes (2010)

Overview

The twelfth and final portion of the North Africa collection is ASLComp AFRIKAKORPS: El Guettar Stakes and it brings those pretty green American bonus counters into play with actions that all take place in Tunisia. Almost all of the scenarios depict American troops in action (a couple depict British units vs. Germans) and once again the overlay collection is used to create one interesting battlefield after another in ways that just cannot be done with geomrphic boards. This set of 8 scenarios includes the namesake Battle of El Guettar, as well as action alongthe Gafsa-Gabes road and one of the final encounters of the War in North Africa, outside the gates of Tunis.
