Overview

Alpen Express is a game that uses a system of trains to move your people from the crowded city to the verdant Alps. The players roll a die and can move one train to the matching number. Each player can must move one pawn off or on the moved train.

The goal is to have all of your people jump from train to train toward the center of the board. Sometimes you can't help but aid others, but more times than not if you aren't helping yourself you get the opportunity to block out other player's chance for success.

This is billed as a kids game, but it also works as a nice opener/closer for adults. As this is made from solid wood with working wooden trains, it doesn't make for the most portable filler.
