Overview

The waters of Aquatica have been prosperous for centuries. Under the reign of the wise and noble Sea-Kings, all the creatures of the sea lived in peace and serenity. But one day everything changed...the Cold Waters of the North Ocean rushed into the warm waters of Aquatica causing underwater volcanoes to erupt! Immediate and strong climate changes brought unexpected consequences. The citizens of Aquatica were surprised to learn that the polar seas were also full of life - unusual and unfamiliar. They had no idea that several Northern nations had also discovered the wealth and prosperity of Aquatica. And they are ready to fight for resources. The Royal City is reduced in ashes after the volcanic eruptions, and panic is everywhere. Unfortunately the four brave Sea-Kings who started the fight for the Crown of Aquatica didn’t pay attention to reports about weird creatures in the outskirts of the Empire... And so The Polar Invasion begins! The Aquatica: Cold Waters expansion adds several modules including a new location type, new Ocean’s creatures cards, and an alternative mechanic that replaces the goal track in the base game. It also includes all necessary components for a fifth player!
