Overview

The Synod Peace Fleet The Synod is a vast collective of races who pool resources and information. They have a long history of genetic manipulation and terraforming. Culturally they have grown stagnant and some planets are in the process of breaking away from the Synod of Worlds for various reasons. Most of them by force. The Synod has attempted through genetic manipulation to eradicate warlike and violent behavior among the member species of the Synod. The worlds that break away or refuse membership into the Synod are seen by the Synod's governing body, the Allthing, as a dangerous influence to other worlds. Some worlds who are not fully developed but who show violent, warlike tendencies have been destroyed by unknown means. The universe is littered with the bones of civilizations that have been wiped clean from the planets they once populated.
