Overview

Beliefs and Betrayals consists of two parts that you may combine or use separately together with Era of Tribes. including the 4X module and 5/6 player expansions as well.

Religion: You can increase your religiosity on this board. In return, you receive various bonuses and can use special actions. However, your ability to research is deteriorating.

As soon as you proceed in Culture, you can choose one of the religious branches. To do so, move your priest to the first field of the corresponding branch for free. You immediately receive a prophet that you can use on the Game Board, where he can support you in various ways (cause unrest with other players, raise your religiosity, make your people more happy). From level eight, you can build powerful sanctuaries that give you influence and make your people happier.

Intelligence: Allows you to interact directly with your fellow players (as soon as both have reached at least the Bronze Age) through various intelligence actions. The probabilities of these actions succeeding depend on different individual conditions.

It is very important to keep an eye on your vigilance and maybe boost it with some agents - or use these to force operations against the other players? Or use them to fight unrest in your provinces?

Integrate Intelligence and Religion in your game to enhance in your way to dominance.
