Overview

Flames of War: Burning Empires is a hardcover supplement for the Flames of War World War II miniatures game system. It is about the Early War battles in North Africa in 1940 and 1941. It contains armylists, scenarios, painting guides and background information about the battles that took place.

Included are the army lists that did not make it into Hellfire and Back, for example the Fucilieri, Greeks, and French.

In addition, rules and scenarios are included to fight out small raiding force actions, for example the British Long Range Desert Group and the Italian Sahariana
