Tank Chess: Fun Set Plus (2024)

Overview

Tank Chess: Fun Set Plus is an expansion that represents the continuation of the content-expanding line started with Tank Chess: Fun Set, which was the original Tank Chess expansion.

The Fun Set Plus expansion is focused mainly on new vehicles that allow even more diverse games, but there are also new obstacles added and the road feature, which speeds up movement.

The pieces featured in this expansion (non conclusive) are: 2 x Tankette; 1x Flamethrower Tank; 1x Heavy Tank Destroyer; 1x Smokelauncher Tank; 2x Infantry Tank; 1x Minelaying truck; 3x Landing craft; 2x Gun Boat; 1x Fast Boat and 2x Pillbox, in each color.

Given that Fun Set Plus contains wide water areas, as well as many amphibious vehicles and armed boats, the character of the game changes a lot as it provides additional opportunities for an extremely varied gameplay. There will be some interesting board setups with lots of water surfaces provided in the brochure, which can be used as an inspiration for creating even more custom setups.
